THIS VIEW HAS ALREADY CHANGED!
Now you can see the big huge new Harrah's casino Hotel (Highrise) down in the deepest part of the valley. (the palce in the photo, near the center, where it looks like a flat spot...that is in Cherokee). Oh and...this past summer everything was ALWAYS so hazy everytime we went up to the knob...the mountains about halfway back in this photo was barely visible. Very sad!!
I wish people would leave beautiful spots like this alone! Especially casinos. Those mountains are absolutely gorgeous and should remain untouched forever. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
